Industrial Safety Projection Scenes
Warehouse and logistics
- Floor safety signs for forklift routes and pedestrian walkways.
- Loading dock STOP signs and high-risk aisle warnings.
- Virtual zebra crossings for forklift and pedestrian separation.
Factory and outdoor plant
- Workshop safety icons, danger zones and machine area warnings.
- Crane travel paths, hook warning areas and temporary work zones.
- Outdoor industrial signs when painted markings wear quickly.
Wattage, Height and Image Size Guide
Use the table as a starting range. Actual model selection depends on ambient light, floor material, projection distance, image complexity and whether the sign is static, zebra crossing or custom gobo artwork.
| Power |
Typical mounting height |
Typical image size |
Common use |
| 150W | 5-7 m | 60-80 cm | Small floor warning signs, fast door STOP signs and indoor safety icons. |
| 160W | 5-8 m | 60-100 cm | Workshop warning signs and compact warehouse safety projections. |
| 200W | 6-9 m | 80-120 cm | Factory floor signs and medium-height warehouse warnings. |
| 240W | 7-10 m | 100-150 cm | Crane paths, larger floor signs and brighter industrial spaces. |
| 300W | 8-12 m | 120-180 cm | Large warehouse signs, zebra crossing symbols and stronger ambient light. |
| 350W | 9-13 m | 150-200 cm | High-ceiling workshop signs and larger crane or traffic zones. |
| 500W | 10-15 m | 180-250 cm | Large traffic separation zones, zebra crossings and high mounting points. |
| 700W | 12-18 m | 200-300 cm | High-power warehouse crossings and large industrial traffic markings. |
STOP Sign and Zebra Crossing Selection
5-6 m fast door STOP sign
A 150W or 160W industrial projector is normally the starting point for a 60-80 cm STOP sign at a fast door or loading entrance. A standard wall bracket with angle adjustment is usually enough, but the site photo and mounting direction should be checked.
Warehouse zebra crossing
For forklift and pedestrian separation, 500W or 700W models are used when the crossing is large, mounted higher or placed in brighter traffic areas. Confirm the crossing size, distance, floor color and whether the pattern must be customized.
Outdoor, Dust and High-temperature Requirements
- Outdoor projects should confirm IP65 or IP67 protection, waterproof connectors and installation angle.
- High-dust workshops should use a sealed structure, dust cover where needed and a regular radiator cleaning plan.
- High-temperature plants need a dedicated high-temperature configuration, stronger cooling and a model-by-model confirmation.
- 220V is the default for many models; 110V and 380V can be customized on suitable configurations.
- Sound and light linkage, external relay, IO trigger and sensor control can be supplied when the warning must react to equipment movement.
Industrial Projector Quote Checklist
Before a final quote, prepare mounting height, projection distance, required image size, warning content, ambient light, floor color, voltage, indoor or outdoor use, installation photos, target country and quantity.
Frequently asked buyer questions
Why use projection instead of painted floor signs? Projection stays visible when paint, tape or stickers are damaged by forklifts, cleaning, water, oil or heavy traffic.
Can the warning image be customized? Yes. STOP signs, caution icons, zebra crossings, walkway signs, crane zones, logos and site-specific gobo symbols can be customized.
Which wattage should I choose? Start from mounting height and image size, then adjust for ambient light, floor material and whether the projection is a simple sign or large zebra crossing.
