In a busy manufacturing facility, safety signs need to be clear, visible, and easy to understand. Workers and forklifts may move through the same general areas every day, so clear visual guidance is important for daily operations. To improve workplace safety communication, a U.S. manufacturing company introduced projected safety signs across its production and warehouse areas.
The facility already used floor markings, warning signs, pedestrian crossings, and traffic control measures. However, traditional painted markings can become less visible because of daily traffic, cleaning, dust, and equipment movement. The company wanted a more flexible way to display important safety messages directly on the factory floor.
In May 2025, the manufacturing company contacted Noparde to discuss a customized industrial projection lighting solution. The customer was looking for a practical way to improve floor-level safety communication in different areas of its facility.
After understanding the customer’s application requirements, Noparde provided a series of customized industrial projection lights. These projectors were used to display different safety graphics, including STOP signs, warning symbols, pedestrian crossings, floor boundaries, and forklift-related safety markings. The solution allowed the company to combine projected graphics with its existing safety management system. Instead of replacing traditional signs and floor markings, the projection lights added another clear visual layer to the working environment.
One of the main applications was the separation of pedestrian and forklift routes. In large warehouses and production facilities, forklifts frequently move materials between different areas, while employees need to walk through the same working environment. The company used projected safety signs together with yellow floor lines, pedestrian crossings, and STOP symbols. These visual elements helped make intersections and traffic areas easier to identify.
For example, a STOP symbol can be projected directly onto the floor at a forklift intersection. A pedestrian crossing can also be projected across a traffic route, providing workers with a clear visual reference while they move through the facility. This type of factory floor projector can provide safety information at the same level as the workers’ normal field of view. It can also work together with wall signs, barriers, floor lines, and other safety measures.
Another important benefit of projection lighting is flexibility. Manufacturing facilities often change their production layouts, storage areas, equipment locations, and traffic routes. Permanent floor markings may need to be repainted when these areas change. With virtual safety signs, the company can display safety messages without permanently painting every graphic onto the floor. The projected image can be changed or repositioned according to the application. This makes virtual floor signs suitable for areas where the layout may change over time. For example, a temporary work zone, new equipment area, warehouse route, or temporary pedestrian crossing can use projected markings without requiring major floor changes.
The photos from the facility show several different applications. STOP signs are projected onto traffic areas, yellow lines define pedestrian routes, and warning symbols are displayed near equipment and working zones. These projected floor signs help create a consistent visual language throughout the facility. Workers can recognize different symbols and markings while moving between production areas, warehouse aisles, and equipment zones.
For this project, Noparde focused on providing industrial projection lights suitable for the customer’s working environment and application needs. The project required more than a standard lighting product. The customer needed a solution that could support customized safety graphics and practical factory applications. The projection lights were integrated into different parts of the facility to display safety information where it was needed. This included pedestrian routes, forklift areas, STOP points, equipment zones, and other working areas.
The cooperation started in May 2025, when the customer first contacted Noparde for the customized industrial projection light project. After using the products in its manufacturing facility, the customer continued its cooperation with Noparde. In September 2026, the customer placed its second order with Noparde. The customer also expressed recognition of the quality of Noparde’s projection lights and the service provided during the cooperation. For Noparde, this repeat order is an important part of the customer relationship. It shows how an initial industrial projection project can develop into continued cooperation when the product meets the customer’s application needs.
This U.S. manufacturing company used projected safety signs to add clear visual safety information to its production and warehouse areas. STOP signs, pedestrian crossings, warning symbols, and floor boundaries were projected onto the floor and used together with existing safety measures. The project also demonstrated the flexibility of industrial projection lighting. Compared with fixed floor graphics, projected floor signs can be adjusted according to different working areas and changing factory layouts. From the first contact in May 2025 to the second order in September 2026, Noparde supported this customer’s ongoing need for industrial safety projection. The customer recognized the product quality and service, creating a solid foundation for continued cooperation.
